Investing in a website designer is super exciting but it’s important that you have a hell yes before we begin.
Discovery calls are free video chats (hosted on Goggle Meet) that give you the opportunity to ask me all of your questions, big and small, and get a final feel if this is the right service for you.
If you haven’t done a call like this before, please don’t be shy. This isn’t a pitch – there really are zero strings attached. I’ll simply explain how it all works, then follow up by email with your official offer. You’ll have plenty of space to decide if or when you’d like to proceed with building your website.

There are a couple of things you will need to pay for that are NOT included in my design packages.
ESSENTIAL: Website Platform and Hosting:
I design all my websites on a platform called Squarespace. This is where your website ‘lives’ online. Squarespace is a monthly/annual subscription that you will need to maintain to keep your website on the internet.
Your subscription includes hosting costs, security protection, customer service and all the editing and design tools that allow you to update your content.
For this bespoke offering, you will need a business or commercial level account. But you don’t need to start paying for this until we’re ready to publish your new site.
As an official Squarespace designer, I can also get you 20% off the first year of any new annual subscription.

ESSENTIAL: Website URL
Your URL is the personalised website address that people use to access your site e.g. www.mywebsites.com.
This is a low-cost annual subscription – usually up to £30 per year depending on the web address.
Services I recommend include iwantmyname and GoDaddy. But I can link up any service if you’ve already purchased one.
OPTIONAL: Additional software
If you have any software integrations you would like to include in your website, such as a specific marketing software, all costs and memberships are managed by you.
OPTIONAL: Premium fonts or images
While there are many free fonts and stock images to choose from, if you have specific ones you’d like to use that require extra licensing, you will need to purchase these outside of this package.

Yes! We can split the cost of this package over 3 monthly payments. However please be aware that your full invoice needs to be complete before I can publish your website and transfer ownership to you,

If you need a little space before signing up but want to secure your spot in my calendar, you can book up to 3 months in advance with a £250 non-refundable deposit.
This means that payment (in full or payment plan) will commence from your start date, minus the deposit.
You can cancel your project or miss the agreed upon start date, you will lose your non-refundable deposit.

Yes! Once design and payment is complete, I’ll transfer ownership over to you. There will be no ongoing costs from The Website Witch.
All monthly or annual fees related to the hosting and maintenance of your site will be managed by you directly with the platforms you’re subscribed to.

Honestly, not really. If you have a couple of digital downloads you want to sell on your site, that’s totally fine. But if you’re not really a service-based business and want to create an extensive online shop Squarespace and my services aren’t the best fit. I believe Shopify (or equivalent e-commerce platform) could be your answer.
